The inaugural 2019 Women’s Resilience Awards were launched during the Community and Business Women’s Network Christmas luncheon at Soldiers Beach Surf Lifesaving Club on December 5.
The awards are intended for Central Coast women who deserve to be recognised for their courage and strength in challenging times. These are women who have demonstrated resilience – the ability to ‘bounce back’ effectively from tragedy, trauma and other significant setbacks. Resilient people do not let adversity define them, instead drawing on their inner strengths to return to productive lives that positively impact the community.

Award winners will be announced at a special luncheon at Toukley RSL Club on March 6, 2019, to coincide with NSW Women’s Week.
