Staying connected to Iris Foundation, each other and something good in our community.

Iris Connect is the community connection stream of The Prevention Collective, bringing together the people, businesses and partners who support Iris Foundation and help strengthen suicide prevention across the Central Coast.

It’s not formal networking. It’s a relaxed way to stay close to Iris, meet others who care about community, and feel part of the work your support makes possible.

Suicide prevention can’t sit with one organisation alone. It takes people, businesses, volunteers and partners who stay connected and notice what’s happening around them, before life reaches crisis point.

Iris Connect gives that community a place to gather: over coffee, at a breakfast, an evening event, or a workplace session. The format varies, but the purpose stays the same, keep people connected, build real relationships, and remind us that connection itself is part of prevention.

Who is Iris Connect for?

Anyone already part of, or interested in, The Prevention Collective: supporters, business partners, ambassadors, volunteers, community organisations, and locals who want to be part of something positive.

No business card or sales pitch needed, just come as someone who values people and community.

What to expect

Relaxed, welcoming gatherings that might include a short Iris update, stories of impact, guest conversations, and space for real conversation. Some are open to all supporters; others focus on a specific group, like business, workplace wellbeing, or young people.
The format changes. The heart doesn’t: good people, real conversation, meaningful connection.
