After many years of fundraising, lobbying and hard work, the Iris Foundation officially launched the Early Intervention Centre for The Prevention of Suicide on 20th June, 2014.

The new Centre is located centrally on the grounds of the Old Primary School in Wyong. Needing significant renovation to suit the purpose, many individuals and organisations from the Central Coast community came to lend a hand with painting, carpentry and landscaping  including Northlakes Rotary, Break Thru and Wyong Neighbourhood Centre.

The Early Intervention Centre pilot program aims to provide support and resources for services and programs for at risk individuals and their families when no alternatives are available.
