Iris Foundation works to foster hope in the community, and one local business helping us do that is the aptly named Sunshine Gifting Co.
Throughout the month of May, Sunshine Gifting is generously donating $5 from every gift purchased to support the Foundation’s work improving mental health on the Central Coast.
This boutique gifting company is also distributing the ‘Box of Hope’ via its website. Iris Foundation created this box for those times when we want to reach out to someone, but aren’t sure of the words to use, or don’t want to visit them empty-handed.
Giving the box is a simple gesture that can be useful in several ways:
– Creating a reason to see someone
– Bringing a smile to someone who needs it
– Showing someone that you care for them
– Kick-starting a conversation when words are not enough
All proceeds go to directly to Iris Foundation, which is currently adapting its programs to the social environment created by COVID-19.
