The Iris Foundation proudly participated in the Yarramalong Valley Spring Show on September 10. The show – which draws thousands of visitors from across the Central Coast – is the culmination of Yarramalong’s annual spring festival.
The foundation took the opportunity to promote its Tree of Dreams™ project, and also asked visitors to answer the all-important question: ‘What makes you happy?’. The answers were many and varied, and often amusing.
The show was certainly a fun day out, with attractions including wood-chopping competitions, market stalls, fresh food and live music. The inaugural wife-carrying competition was a particular highlight, with some couples adopting some rather unorthodox carrying styles to get ahead.
