Iris Foundation has received a generous – and unexpected – donation from the members of Wyong Women’s Discussion Group this month.
Group member Ann Fry presented Executive Officer Sue Liprott with a cheque after she spoke about Iris Foundation’s work to reduce the risk of suicide on the Central Coast and to share resources to help create a more ‘suicide safe’ community.
Funds raised by group members will go towards the Cool Connections in School program, which supports primary school children at risk of developing poor mental health.
